Two Left in New York City

Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka will meeting in the final of the year’s last major, the US Open. This will be their 24th meeting and second at the US Open, Djokovic winning the last encounter three years ago.

The world No.1 advanced the final of the seventh time when he defeated Gel Monfils for the 12th straight time 6-3, 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 while Wawrinka stopped Kei Nishikori 4-6, 7-5, 6-4, 6-2. The Swiss turned the tables on the Japanese player having lost to him at the Open in 2014. This is the first time Wawrinka is in the US Open final.
